EMULSION SERUM WITH 1% PURE RETINOL, 5% VITAMIN C AND 2% STEM CELLS FROM CENTELLA ASIATIC RENEWAL AND STIMULATIONSpecialized night serum in the form of a light emulsion with pure stable retinol 1%, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, coenzyme Q10 and stem cells from pennywort has effective anti-wrinkle and corrective effects. By stimulating the skin to renew, it visibly improves its structure and firmness, smoothes it and reduces the visibility of pores and wrinkles. At the same time, the optimal combination of soothing and moisturising ingredients reduces the effects of building skin tolerance to retinol, accelerating its regeneration, strengthening the hydrolipid barrier, effectively protecting it against moisture loss and reducing redness and peeling.

Vitamin C in the form of ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate firms and tones the skin, counteracts sebum oxidation and has a brightening effect, inhibiting the synthesis of melanin. Together with retinol, it effectively reduces discolouration, scars and acne lesions. The content of strong antioxidants, coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E, effectively neutralises free radicals, acting as an antioxidant and slowing down the ageing process of the skin. Stem cells from the Asian pennywort support the regeneration of the epidermis, reducing and soothing redness. They also improve the structure of the skin, increasing its firmness and elasticity, and thus contribute to reducing the appearance of pores and wrinkles. Ceramides included in the intercellular cement strengthen the natural protective barrier of the skin, accelerating its regeneration and effectively protecting it against moisture loss. Together with cholesterol and pentavitin, they perfectly improve the appearance of dry skin, reducing flaking and itching, soothing and providing it with long-lasting protection. The synergy of low- and ultra-low-molecular hyaluronic acid increases skin elasticity, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles. Together with trehalose, thanks to its hygroscopic properties, they reduce transepidermal water loss. Fleischer willowherb extract comprehensively improves the appearance of skin prone to oiliness or acne, reducing sebum secretion, reducing the visibility of pores and silencing inflammatory changes. Baikal thyroid extract has strong anti-inflammatory properties, limiting the spread of inflammation, which effectively delays the ageing process of the skin. It becomes less sensitive, better hydrated and firmer. Hydroxystearic acid eliminates the harmful effects of UV radiation, contributing to the reduction of discolouration and the so-called lentigo spots. In addition, it stimulates the production of collagen, together with retinol, causing a significant increase in skin firmness.
We recommend using the product only after building skin tolerance to a lower concentration of retinol. In the case of the first contact with this active ingredient or returning to its use after a longer break, we suggest buying an Emulsion Serum with 0.3% pure retinol or a Serum with pure retinol 0.5%. Because retinol penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, women during pregnancy and breastfeeding should NOT use it. The serum is without fragrance additives, its slightly perceptible note results from the composition. After applying the product, we recommend washing your hands thoroughly. HOW TO USE AN EMULSION SERUM WITH 1% PURE RETINOL BASICLAB: Retinoltreatment is carried out in the autumn and winter season (approximately from September to March / April). When using retinol in care, we absolutely apply high sun protection SPF50+ for the day and avoid exposure to the sun. It should also be remembered that during retinol treatment, the skin requires increased hydration and regeneration.
We always start using retinol from a lower concentration, i.e. 0.3 or 0.5% - both when carrying out the treatment for the first time and resuming it after a long break. Retinol is introduced gradually, for the first 2 weeks using every 4-5 evening. After every two weeks, we reduce the interval between applications by 1 day. We apply it only once a day, exclusively in evening care, on cleansed and dry skin, avoiding the eye area. At the beginning of the introduction of retinol into the care, we apply it ourselves to observe the reaction of the skin. Ultimately, about 30-40 minutes after the application of retinol, you can apply a moisturising and regenerating product, e.g. serum with ceramides and/or lipid cream for the winter. In the first weeks of use, redness, dryness or irritation of the skin can be observed, as well as its peeling - this is the result of building skin tolerance to this active substance. We switch to a higher concentration of retinol at the earliest when the skin tolerates the use of a lower minimum of 4-5 times a week. We also introduce a higher concentration "anew", building skin tolerance - first every 4 days, gradually increasing the frequency over time. The use of retinol throughout the year is acceptable, but for the spring and summer period it is worth switching to a lower concentration, and when planning increased exposure to the sun, discontinue it completely about 4 weeks earlier.
