Vascularskin is also known as shallow-vascularized skin. About 10% of the population has it; more often these are women. People with this type of skin should first of all purchase a good cream for capillaries and other cosmetics designed for this type of skin. Demanding vascular skin care with the appropriate preparations for cleansing and moisturizing the skin should take place in the morning and evening. Cosmetics such as gel, micellar lotion and cream must contain ingredients that promote skin regeneration, moisturizing and soothing.

What does vascular skin look like?

Vascular skin is characterized by the fact that the blood vessels are located shallowly and are fragile, dilated and inflexible This makes them unable to maintain normal blood pressure, with the consequence that they dilate even more. The presence of a vascular complexion is related to genes and the overproduction of estrogen, or female sex hormones. Characteristic features of a vascular skin include bursting blood vessels on the face, especially on the cheeks and in the chin and nose area, erythema, visible spots and redness, itching and burning sensations, a tendency to inflammation and irritation, and hypersensitivity to changes in weather conditions, including temperature fluctuations and excessive contact with the sun.

How to take care of vascular skin?

What should the care of capillary skin look like? The key element is a properly selected cream for capillary skin. The cream for capillaries should contain ingredients such as: horse chestnut extract, ginkgo biloba extract, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin PP, rutin, arnica montana extract, silicon, yarrow and green clay. Those facing a problem such as bursting facial capillaries must avoid cosmetics containing peppermint, menthol, urea, eucalyptus oil and acetone. Care for vascular skin should also include the use of a micellar lotion or gentle milk designed for this type of skin. It is also worth stocking up on an oil for capillary skin and an enzymatic scrub. Washing preparations should be washed off with lukewarm mineral or boiled water. In addition to daily care with cosmetics dedicated to this type of skin, it is advisable at least once a week to use a mask to reduce redness and strengthen capillaries.
