Shea butter is extracted from the seeds of the butter tree. At room temperature it has the form and color of butter, and when heated it dissolves and turns into oil. It is distinguished by its characteristic nutty smell and rather oily consistency. Once applied to the skin, it is quickly absorbed and wraps the skin in a protective film. Thanks to the naturally occurring vitamins A and E and fatty acids in the composition of the butter, shea has a rejuvenating effect, neutralizes free radicals and intensively regenerates the skin.
